A few weeks ago, a petition was started by XDA Senior Member wideopn11 to get the bootloader of the Asus Transformer TF300T unlocked. The demands were simple—to provide the same type of utility tool that unlocked the Asus Transformer Prime. It’s only fair, right?

With the Galaxy S III firmware leak, it was expected to see some of it ported to other devices. It began with the porting and removal of S-Voice, only to see its triumphant return. Owners of the Motorola Atrix 2 have recently faced a different problem than most Android enthusiasts are used to. Normally, when you install a custom recovery, it stays there. While the majority of XDA’s community members prefer vanilla-flavored Android, there are those who prefer their mobile OS to have a bit more of a unique touch. While the official ClockworkMod recovery is still arguably the most popular recovery for the largest number of Android devices, its wide release nature prevents official releases from being as easily adaptable as other recoveries when new development happens on many devices.
