The mobile payment space has heated up recently, with multiple companies like Apple and Samsung throwing their hat in the ring, and in a somewhat predictable move, Google has announced their own take on mobile payment solutions, titled Android Pay, that bring simplicity and security  to the mobile payment space.

Android Pay simplifies the entire payment process, working through the app, or one of the partner banks. The platform has major US carriers like AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile on board, works across 700,000 stores and also in-app for apps like Lyft and GrubHub.
