32 GB Micro SD Analysis & Speed Test
Posted July 15, 2011 at 03:00 pm by orb3000
Much has been said about micro SD cards: what is the fastest?, which one is the best? and so on. XDA member drgopoos started a thread where he explains everything about 32GB micro SDHC cards, covering several aspects of their functionality, performance, write speeds and prices. Moreover, the analysis goes into many details normal users may not have in mind when thinking about buying a new SD card. The original poster compiled information found in several threads around the big world of XDA and some external links as well to get as much information compiled in one place as he could.
You will find interesting comments regarding things like the type class of your SD: Class 2 and 4 cards have better random access speed and random read/write than class 6 or 10 cards in general. To get higher sequential write speeds, manufacturers sacrifice the random access speeds, speed charts, and more.
Of course, this information is based on others’ opinions and experiences, so step in and share your own to make a richer discussion thread.

Lots of threads and lots of info.
This is purely my review ( based on the info i got from many places) on the topic.
Hope this helps somebody
My recommendation after playing with all sorts of microsd cards and speeds is to get a sandisk 32gb card ( the new sandisk cards do not show a class speed , except for their ultra and extreme cards – This is their new policy )
Why this recommendation
- Randrom read write is the most important for speed during normal phone performance and i have seen sandisk cards have it the highest .
HERE IS A POST FROM SOMEONE IN XDA. Forgot the source
