A 2D Rubik’s Cube – Presenting Cognicube for Android

The Rubik’s cube is one of many people’s favorite pastimes. In fact, there are a few games for mobile devices to play this in case you don’t own one (or in case your pockets are not big enough). Also, if you search around, you will find several variants of the game, but XDA member theillustratedlife took a different approach to make this game more refreshing. As a cube has 6 sides, the dev figured that the cube can be opened up, showing all 6 faces simultaneously in a 2D environment. This is for all these people who believe that a game must be in 3D to be good and playable. There is plenty of fun in the 2D world, we just need to find devs who are willing to do things like this for us.

I just shipped my first Android game!
It’s called Cognicube. It’s a sliding cube puzzle, like a Rubik’s Cube, but unwrapped so you can see all six faces at once.
It’s completely free. There’s a donation window that will pop-up when you launch the game, but you can easily close it with the Back key.
Please let me know what you think!
You can find more information in the game thread.
