ADB Toolkit Updated, Adds A Bunch of Features and Support For All Devices

ADB Toolkit

Toolkits have been surprisingly popular this year. With hasoon2000’s HTC Toolkits and mskip’s Samsung toolkits┬áreleased left and right, it seems almost everyone has a toolkit for their needs. There is another toolkit being worked on, though, which aims to be compatible with every Android phone and hopes to perform many tasks.

Developed by XDA Forum Member esc0rtd3w, it is called ADB Toolkit, and with this new update, quite a bit has been added. As opposed to implementing features first and compatibility second, esc0rtd3w’s focuses more on compatibility first and features second. For now, the tool only has about half a dozen features, but it’s compatible with the following manufacturers:

- Acer
– Amazon
– Asus
– Barnes & Noble
– Blackberry
– Casio
– Dell
– Foxconn
– Generic (Universal)
– Google
– Hi-Sense
– HP
– HTC
– Huawei
– JTAG
– Kyocera
– LG
– Motorola
– Nokia
– Pegatron
– Samsung
– Sony
– Teleepoch
– Toshiba
– ZTE

The list gets a little shorter depending on which feature you’re trying to access. For example, you won’t find Blackberry on the rooting compatibility list. To keep tabs on this toolkit’s development or give it a shot yourself, check out the original thread.
