Add Some Chrome Bling to Your Desire HD

Not too long ago, we covered the glorious effects of combining Android love with XDAddiction. That hardware modification was both glorious and extremely classy. However, what is one to do if (s)he prefers glossier finishes? After stripping paint and polishing metal, XDA forum member mynthix has found out!

Though the Chrome Desire HD has garnered a much more polarized response than the previously linked HD2 mod, this has sparked others in the the thread to follow suit and share images of their customized creations! One such forum member, xTremePower, shared his polishing technique:

for this, I used :

sand papers : P220 –> P600 —> P2500
after I used “Belgom Alu”
It’s designed specialy for polishing aluminium
I passed it 8 times for erase all scratches

Now it is a real mirror
