AlphaRev X Public Beta Brings Tasty S-Off Action to the HTC Wildfire

Are you an HTC Wildfire user dying for some tasty S-Off action? Luckily AlphaRev X, which is intended on achieving exactly that, has just entered public beta.

Starting with an issue he faced himself, XDA forum member dannyjmcguinness has created a support thread regarding the public beta. Obtaining S-Off is a rather large milestone, as it allows custom kernels and ROMs to be flashed without any issue. Additionally, files in the /system partition can be modified while the device is powered on, enabling programs like MetaMorph to work as expected. Essentially, achieving S-Off makes the device truly yours.
