Those of you who have used Total Commander on your PC in the past will be thankful for this little addon to be used with your Android device. Total Commander is a windows explorer type interface but built into one window is 2 windows for ease of moving files without having to open multiple windows just to copy a file. XDA Member sztupy has developed an addon for Total Commander that allows the application to access your phones’ filesystem and edit it without having to use the phone or any 3rd party dedicated applications.
The addon works by using the adb (Android Debug Bridge) shell to execute simple Linux. It requires Total Commander on your PC, busybox on your phone (root not required), and USB debugging must be on. To learn more about this addon check out the discussion thread and to download it go here.
