As much as we hate to admit it, we have been dupped before with stories that are too good to be true (Motorola RSA keys cracked anyone?). However, the good people from xda.cn have provided us with a few real surprises in the past. This time, they share a video of a HD7 running a Sense (what seems to be Froyo) rom. The video has made its way around the globe with tons of speculations about its veracity and whether the HD7 is the next HD2 (kind of an obvious statement). The video looks fairly real but a few are weary as it doesn’t show a bootloader or anything of that sort, or the fact that the buttons that the person shooting the video is using seem to have variable (read weird) functionality. So, how does it start? From NAND? SD? There are far too many questions, although one thing is for certain… the hardware on the HD7 is more than sufficient to run Android, so if this were true, we would not be surprised. XDA moderator ~~Tito~~ posted a discussion thread with a link to the video itself. Please take a very good look at the video and leave us your comments.
I leave it at that.
Device is the HD7
