Apps focused on the ‘behind-the-scenes’ part of the Android device are rather fragmented in the market, with a whole array of functions and features stretched over a multitude of different apps and software. So it’s great that we can always go and rely on the few apps like that do bring (more or less) everything together into one little package such as Titanium Backup or Pimp My Rom.
Much like the aforementioned description, Andromizer is an app that packs and presents a myriad of custom settings, tweaks, tools and other actions into an app with a small memory footprint. Developed by XDA Senior Member J.Y.Daddy, Andromizer will work with any device running any version of Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, or Jelly Bean. There are a few specific features reserved for the variants of the Samsung Galaxy S4, S3, Note, Note 2, and Note 10.1. Features include but are not limited to:
- Build.prop manager
- I/O scheduler
- Memory (RAM) settings
- LCD Density
- SMS and Call-log backup and restore
- Backup, restore and wipe with TWRP
- Dalvik cache size and wipe
And as for the users of the previously mentioned Samsung devices, you’ll be able to use Andromizer to update your kernel and recovery, make a kernel and recovery update into a flashable zip, and more. Another nice and welcome touch is Andromizer’s user interface. Clean and logical, horizontally swiping pages of different categories makes navigation easy and headache-free.
