APK Changer Brings All the APK Tools Together

Apparently, it’s the season of updating. We’ve already brought you news of APKTool receiving regular updates again and a massive update for
Virtual Virtuous Ten Studios. So to keep with the trend, another apk altering tool has come back from the grave with a whole host of new updates. This time, it’s APK Changer, a year-old apk modifying app that’s gotten some new updates.
Developed by XDA Forum Member furniel, the application is similar to APKTool in that it’s used to compile, decompile, and otherwise modify apk and jar files. Very recently, it received an update that also makes it compatible with M10 files. For those who are unaware, M10 files are commonly used in Sense 4 ROMs. They have a history of being difficult to work with.
Other than the updates, the application works much as it did before. Users or developers looking to use this application need to place the apk, jar, or M10 file in the working folder, start the application, and go from there. Users who have tested the new update say that working with the new M10 files have been a breeze and that so far everything is working pretty well. For anyone developing, modding, or otherwise messing with newer Sense files, this and Virtual Ten Studios are two applications worth checking out.
