AT&T HTC One M7 to Join the Party and Receive Sense 6 Early Next Week

Two weeks ago, we saw the Sense 6 roll out to the developer and unlocked variants of the HTC One M7. A couple days later, the T-Mobile variant of the HTC One M7 receive its taste of Sense 6. And then earlier this week, we saw HTC Sense 6 updates roll out to the Verizon and the Sprint variants of the device.
With so many M7 device variants receiving Sense 6 updates, many on America’s second largest mobile carrier were quick to wonder when the AT&T HTC One would receive its taste of the updated Sense goods. But thanks to a tweet by HTC US President Jason Mackenzie, which was quickly reiterated by VP of Product Management Mohammed Versi, we now know that the update will start rolling out to consumer devices early next week.
It is safe to assume that this update will bring the same goodies seen in the previous Sense 6 updates that have made their way to other variants of the M7. These updates all brought several key features that were previously exclusive to the M8 such as an updated UI, improved BlinkFeed interface, and updated first party apps.
To learn more about the update and/or install a preview build, head over to the later pages of this thread in our AT&T HTC One forums. Good job, HTC in almost meeting your self imposed deadline of updating all HTC One variants to Sense 6 by the end of May. Since this slight delay by a few days isn’t your fault, but rather due to AT&T’s certification process, we won’t hold it against you.
