How many times have you seen the birthday of a fellow Facebook user pop up on your feed, Skype or anywhere else, and you’ve been meaning for ages to head on over to their page and drop them a message? As I write this article, hilariously enough, two birthday messages have already popped up on my screen and now I feel obliged to wish them a great day. But sometimes this responsibility can get on top of us a bit.
Thankfully, XDA user ethridgt has developed an app to take that “personal” and generic “Happy Birthday!” message and make it automated and generic. When that’s all anyone says most of the time anyway, it’s not really that bad, is it? I personally think it’s absolutely spiffing, to say the least.
A paid version of the app is available, allowing you to input any message, but the free version is without a time limit and allows you to say “happy birthday!” only.
If this sounds like an appealing app to you, I urge you to head on over to the original thread, pick this up for yourself and leave the developer a nice message of support!_________
