Every now and then, some devices need a swift kick in the pants to get back to the way they should be. In most cases, this comes in the form of a script or modification that tweaks various settings. Improvements can range from increased signal and GPS to increased performance and battery life. For Samsung Galaxy Blaze 4G owners, there is now a script that accomplishes most of these things.
The so-called Lightning Zap tweak pack offers a number of tweaks and improvements, combining various tweaks that had been used independently in the past. While the feature list may not bring anything overly unique to the table, Galaxy Blaze 4G users are also reporting that this includes fixes for small bugs they had been experiencing. The tweak pack was developed by XDA Senior Member Thomas.raines and has quite a bit of features. They include:
Battery tweaks for awesome battery life
Governor tweaks for amazing speed and performance without sacrificing battery life
Memory and Ram tweaks
Internet speed tweaks
As one can imagine, this helps fix the lag experienced by some owners after the devices is woken up from sleep. Other improvements include a shorter boot time and overall speedier performance. Unfortunately, the tweak pack is currently only available for Gingerbread ROMs and kernels that support init.d, so if you are running an ICS ROM, this isn’t for you.
