When it comes to news feeds, everyone has their preferences. Some prefer for their content to be saved for offline viewing. Others may like Google Reader compatibility or require that a widget be included. No matter the case, there is a news application out there for just about everyone. Recently, an application was released that brings simplicity and size to the table.
XDA Forum Member lz2323 and XDA Senior Member BlackBearBlanc teamed up to create Big News. Big News is a very simple news application that features gigantic text and an interface that’s very easy to use. Some other features of the app include:
A simple, clean and cool unofficial Google Reader client, Big News.
With a beautiful widget, fast synchronization, Big News provides a happy reading experience to you.
– Beautiful transparent widget.
– Customizations of widget.
– Fast sync.
– And more…
So while there are many RSS and news readers out there with a million features, this one keeps the important core features and cleans the rest out. The Google Reader integration is nice because it allows you to set up your news widget without much more than signing into Google Reader and letting it sync. It’s one potential downfall is that it only shows one news story at a time. This means that to see the rest/ you still have to open the app up and look.
