With the new 4.0 version of Android, the CyanogenMod team aren’t the only ones looking to extend the built-in stock apps (see their custom lancher, Trebuchet, and music player) with more functionality tailored to power users. Recognized developer appelflap has now developed Browser+, which, in its current version, only adds two features: you get some quick controls, similar to what we’re seeing on Honeycomb tablets, and the option to set other user agents to fool the website you’re visiting into thinking you’re on a desktop browser (or iPhone, for that matter).
However, the dev is welcome to feedback and suggestions for new features, which he says will be “added along the way”. Right now, the app only works on the Galaxy Nexus; support for WVGA resolution devices will be added, as long as you’re on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
