Burst Shot on Any Android Device

Burst shot to take many pictures quickly is a standard feature on many newer HTC and Samsung devices. For older devices, the camera application is not capable of burst shot, and users who want such a feature are left in the dark. However, the ability to take many pictures at once could mean better pictures for those who use their phone cameras frequently. Now, there is a way to get burst shot on any Android device using a simple application called Fast Burst Camera.
Posted about by XDA Senior Member androidindian, and developed by Play Store developer Spritefish, the application has all the features one would expect from a burst camera application. In some cases, in even surpasses the native burst shot capabilities of some devices. Some of the features include:
Fast Burst Camera is capable of taking 30 photos per second.
( on low-end devices, 5-10 photos per second is possible )
Hold shoot button for continuous burst, or tap for fast single shots
Zero shutter lag – pictures are taken as soon as shutter button is pressed.
Some practical uses for such an application include taking pictures of sporting events and face shots, as users can pick the best in a large batch and delete the rest. The application, while very simple, does its job well, and has received many positive reviews.
