Many users of XDA, and more specifically, Android, are always on the lookout for further customization and convenience from their Android devices. Modding, flashing, porting, tweaking, all in a never-ending quest to make their devices unique and personal. Well XDA Senior Member astoncheah dishes up two apps that may deliver that dopamine.
Introducing C Lock Screen and C Shaker. C Lock Screen is a third party lock screen app that’s highly customizable with many shortcuts to various functions, apps and features of the Android device. Out of the seven shortcuts on the lock screen, five are customizable by the user, allowing different apps and functions to be accessed. In addition to this, the music essentials of play/pause, previous and next are displayed, along with date and time and a battery gauge. Users can also choose to display missed calls, new text messages and the weather as well. Astoncheah has also offered an extensive variety of fonts and colors of texts.
C Shaker is a nifty little app that allow users to shake their Android device to activate useful actions, such as enabling and disabling standard device features, launch user-defined apps, and play and pause music. The shake sensitivity can be adjusted with a simple meter ranging from low to high, and the app also displays the shake sensitivity level as a number, and the current shake level.
C Lock Screen and C Shaker both serve welcome and practical functions, with potential for further development. Both apps are compatible with Android versions 4.0 and newer, and can be downloaded for free from the Play store.
