Ever since its release a little over a year ago, we’ve talked quite a bit about XDA Senior Member astoncheah‘s C Locker. For those who are unfamiliar with the app, C Locker aims at replacing your lock screen with something more Convenient and Customizable. During its lifespan so far, the application has gained additional lock screen information, an improved UI, Tasker integration, and multiple widget support.
The sixth iteration of C Locker is now available, and once again, it brings quite a few new tricks to the well established app. For starters v6 brings the option to add location profile widgets directly to your lock screen. It also brings support for multi-touch gestures, custom lock screen wallpapers, the ability to show notification contact images for known contacts, and the option to enable or disable the system status bar.
If you’ve been looking for a custom lock screen but haven’t yet made the jump, now’s as good a time as ever to give C Locker a try. Head over to the application thread to get started or the v6 update post to learn more about this version’s new features.
