Call For Developers: Getting Custom ROMs Running On The Droid X2

Call For Developers: Getting Custom ROMs Running On The Droid X2

Even after attaining root, the Motorola Droid X2 still refuses to play nice with custom, AOSP-based ROMs. Development efforts have been going strong since late November, but the developers still need some help from, well, other developers. More developers.

This thread is for the discussion of where to go next.. tricks, techniques to debugging a foreign ROM on our 2nd-init boot.

@ this point i have had varying success in booting cm7, still allot of bugs in logcat, and still getting a bootloop.

Please only chime in if you have any ideas or thoughts related to this.

So, if you’re a developer who knows his/her way around Android ROMs and are skilled enough to help, please head over to this forum thread to assist your fellow forum members in getting the Droid X2 to boot custom ROMs.
