Change Sense Keyboard for Android Keyboard on Leo
Posted September 9, 2010 at 06:00 pm by orb3000
If you have an HTC Leo, perhaps you know you have the chance to have both operating systems on the same device. If you are using Android and you don´t like the Sense keyboard, XDA member psykick5 presents this application to change keyboard to the original Android. The developer also includes the original keyboard in case something goes wrong, so you can go back.

[KEYBOARD]If you don’t like the sense keyboard…
I posted this thread because I didn’t see anything similar, maybe someone else doesn’t like the sense keyboard too, so I’ll just post it.
If you were anything like me, you liked sense, but hated that damned sense keyboard, well I have just bothered to put the stock Android keyboard on my DarkStone Sense V2 and it works.
All I did was rip the keyboard files of ShubCraft, renamed one, then over-wrote them on DarkStone.
Step 1 = Download the 2 files
Step 2 = Use Root Explorer (paid)(Or whatever else you can make work) to copy the files into the system.
HTC_IME.apk goes into system/apps (or app, can’t remember the name)
libjni_latinime.so goes into system/lib
Overwrite both files that are already there.
Step 3 = Reboot and enjoy
You can find more information in the application thread
