Change Your .ko Files on the Fly With Module Loader

Do you enjoy messing around with different kernel modules on your Android-powered smart phone? Being a XDA reader, you probably equate an empty /system/lib/modules directory with murder. That’s with good reason, as modules practically give life to your device by adding support for Samba (cifs.ko), Fuse (fuse.ko), TUN/TAP devices (tun.ko), and more.

However, what happens when one wishes to simply try out a new module?  To alleviate the need for manual file management, XDA forum member D4rKn3sSyS has created Module Loader. This app allows users to choose which modules to enable quickly and easily. In the words of the developer:

This app it’s made for those people that it’s bored of loading manually .ko’s on their phones, or even bored of having some extra weight on their systems folders.
Basically, this apps can read modules on system, sdcard, or any folder, and load. Also have an option for load on boot.
This app was created and it’s working on Xperia X10 mini pro, I’ll need feedback from all devices.

Continue on to the application thread to get started with module swapping.
