Have you ever found yourself unable to detect WiFi networks on your Android device that would show up fine on others devices? This can be frustrating, especially when the only network(s) available don’t show up. Luckily, there is now an easy solution for this, as long as you have a rooted Android device running ICS or Jelly Bean.
The problem is commonly caused by your phone’s WiFi country code. Simply changing that country code to another that supports all WiFi channels fixes it. While it can be done manually by editing certain files, XDA Forum Member MIMi King developed an app that does it for you with no hassle.
Currently, the app is in beta and isn’t available at Play Store, but you can download its APK and sideload it to your device. The download link and usage instructions can be found at the forum thread.___________________
