For those who haven’t used MailChimp before, it is a social application where users create lists and see how their followers interact. While it isn’t a blockbuster app, it is growing in popularity. However, there are still some things users need that aren’t part of the application such as finding an easier way to add people to your lists. There is now an application to help out with that.
XDA Forum Member hunterp released an application called ChimpScan. The application is has a pretty simple premise. Users can scan business cards or other documents, and use the information to add people into MailChimp. The Google Play Store description explains:
Scan business cards for email address, Add to Mailchimp list.
Easily scan business cards for email addresses and quickly add it to your Mailchimp list.
Users scan the cards or documents. They can then use the included crop tool to isolate the relevant information, which can then be added into the MailChimp system. So far, users have reported that app not only works just fine, but is also quite helpful. If you are a regular MailChimp users, this is definitely app to check out.
