Circle Percentage Battery Indicator for Rooted Android Devices

Isn’t it just easier to have the battery percentage in the top bar instead of having to estimate how full your battery is? Even if you have a battery indicator with bars, it will not be as accurate as a percentage indicator. That’s why XDA member kubino99 made a How-To guide to install the above mentioned indicator, which includes a direct download from the XDA server for both Eclair (2.1) and Froyo (2.2). There are some additional notes which are revelant to know whether your device and ROM are supported:

You need to have rooted device and MCR r1 and R3 ROM.
Froyo version tested on DEFROST 2.0 Rom (for froyo I’ve updated just the code (services.jar) not the framework, but I’m sure some of the devs will take care of that )
If you have odexed /system/app this mod won’t work for you. Look for *.odex files in the /system/app folder.
For advanced users only. Check out the application thread for installation instructions and download.
