Create Your Own One-Click Utilities for Windows

We’ve all used a Windows-based one-click tool at some point. There are many out there, and they perform a multitude of different functions. Unfortunately, the functions that we find ourselves using most often are usually split between two or three different tools. Wouldn’t it be great if you could take all of your most commonly used commands and consolidate them all into one custom utility, specifically tailored to your needs? Well now you can, thanks to a great tutorial from XDA Recognized Contributor eraste.

The process itself is incredibly simple and well explained by the author. Even someone with absolutely no previous experience in such things should have no trouble at all creating one of these tools. The first post covers the basics of creating a simple, single function one-click utility. The tutorial then continues to expand on that and explain how to create a more complex version, using menus to organize and group similar commands.

The beauty of this is that it offers the possibility of creating a unique, time saving utility that is not only specific to the way in which you use your device, but can be updated as you see fit with the knowledge you have gained. Some of the many functions you can build into one these tools include rebooting options, pushing/pulling files, and backing up / restoring apps. Pretty much anything that can be done via an ADB or fastboot command can be built into such a tool, and I’d urge anyone who frequently uses either to look into this one.

You can learn more in the tutorial thread.
