Custom HTC_IME Skinning Made Easy

If you’ve installed jonasl‘s modded HTC_IME keyboard and are feeling bored with the default Android theme, why not try out theming the keyboard yourself?

XDA forum member gIMpSTa has created an online theming kitchen for creating custom skinned, signed, HTC_IME high and low res apk files. This gives you freedom to easily customise or create your own skins!

How it works: gIMpSTa has set up a website (requires registration) that you can visit on your computer or directly from your Android device that will let you:

Create a custom skinned keyboard based off any of the images currently in the library including specifying key colours, backgrounds and text colour, and
Customise existing skins.

HTC_IME custom skin generator is currently in beta as gIMpSTa is actively working on the tool, but all features should be working.

If you use this tool to generate your own custom keyboard and include it in a theme or morph or re-post your custom keyboard, please give due credit to gIMpSTa.
