We have several devices on our site that are seemingly abandoned due to the low interest of some devs to look into them. One device that almost falls into this category is the Sidekick 4G from T-Mobile. If you are bored with the device and wish there was something cool to do to it, then you may want to check out the guide posted by XDA member Revolution. The dev is the chef for the Revolution HD ROM for this device and decided, after being asked quite a few times, to teach our members how to fish. The guide is complete and even includes a video in case something is not exactly clear. There will be a few tools that you will need but you don’t need to worry ad they are all free.
If you have a Sidekick and would like to make your very own rom or even if you are just curious as to how this process works, make sure you drop by the thread and leave some feedback if you got anything out of it.
This is how i made Revolution HD
You can find more information in the guide thread.
