One of the appeals of the whole Honeycomb UI is the fact that some of its widgets are actually stacks of whatever they are supposed to enable. In other words, the widget for the Market, actually will show you a stack of the featured apps in the market, a stack that you can navigate through without ever opening the widget (think of the Sense Photo Album widget if you don’t know what I am explaining here). The only problem is that this neat transition effect can only be found on certain widgets, or at least this used to be the case until XDA member optic76 released his very own customizable stack widget. This app will allow you to place shortcuts to virtually any program or folder that you want in a stack. This is a great addition, particularly if you are not too keen on filling up your home screen with shortcuts for your most commonly used programs. Another handy feature is the ability to resize the widget, so your screen will not look empty in case you want to have a single widget in there.
Please leave some feedback for the dev if you find any bugs.
App Stack is a widget that allows you to launch any of your favorite Apps fast and easy.
Widget is simple to use and configure. You have the ability to add or remove any App you have installed. Once an App has been added to App Stack, the App can be launched from the App Stack Widget. You can move and resize App Stack anywhere on your screen (resize supported in 3.1 only).
You can find more information in the application thread.
