With the evolution of smartphones and tablets, more of us find ourselves using these devices as our primary computers for tasks we previously used to do on conventional PCs. This includes downloading many files from the Internet directly to our devices. While all Android phones ship with a built-in download manager, it’s quite barebones, like the ones found on PC Chrome and Firefox. If you are looking for a more feature-rich option, there’s Download Scheduler.
Developed by XDA Forum Member nikanorov, Download Scheduler allows you to queue an unlimited number of downloads on your Android device. As the name suggests, you can schedule them for automatic download at a specified time. You can also download from password-protected websites by providing login credentials, specify save location for downloaded files, and chose file names when starting a download.
