Droid 2 Radio App Working On Motorola Defy

If you’ve recently got your hands on a Motorola Defy, then you’ll know that it comes with an integrated FM radio function.

What you might not know is that the radio hardware appears to be the same as the Droid 2. This comes in handy if, like XDA forum member martinml, you dislike the stock Motorola music player but don’t want to lose the functionality of the FM radio function.

The XDA member has discovered that the Droid 2 radio apk file installs and works great on the Defy, with fully functioning RDS and loudspeaker, also allowing you to save radio stations.

Please note that the app has only been tested on the European Defy.
