Getting into Android development can be a tough task. Knowing which tutorials to follow first, getting your computer set up properly, and learning how to use all the tools can take a lot of time and effort. While we here at XDA have encouraged aspiring developers by posting some beginner’s tutorials and posting guides on using Linux; when it comes to development and development tools, the more the merrier.
One of the more common things users run into when learning to develop is signing ROMs and APKs so that they can be flashed and installed properly. When not properly signed, APKs and ROMs don’t install and work properly. While there are tools out there, they aren’t always easy to find, and they aren’t always easy to use. With this in mind that XDA Forum Member I.AM.H3RO developed Droid Tools to do it for you.
The defining feature of Droid Tools is that it’s easy to use—no convoluted instructions, no unnecessary dancing with the application to make it work. Users simply download the app, check the ReadMe, and then use it. While it was originally developed with the Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 in mind, this application is usable with any ROM or APK file.
