Few things in our mobile lives are more frustrating than getting our application preferences just the way we want then, only to have to perform a full wipe when switching to a different ROM. Luckily, various tools exist to make our lives a little easier when restoring such as the ever popular Titanium Backup. XDA Forum Member mane55 created a new option for those looking to easily backup their apps and preferences with his latest app Easy Backup. As the name implies, Easy Backup is quite user friendly. Just like other backup solutions, Easy Backup can backup and restore your contacts, custom dictionary, text messages, bookmarks, and application data to your local storage and the cloud. However, unlike the other solutions, these backups are stored in standard zip files that can be opened easily from outside the app. And in the spirit of easy access, your SMS, MMS, call log, calendar, bookmarks, dictionary, and contact data are all stored in easily accessible formats such as CSV, EML, and VCF. Finally, Easy Backup allows you to quickly batch restore all of your apps and data without much effort. If you’re looking for a very user-friendly application backup solution, Easy Backup is worth a look. To get started, simply head over to the application thread.
