It looks like after almost a year of stagnation on handset designs and improvements, every other manufacturer has taken technology into high gear. In the upcoming months, we will see devices with unique capabilities that will likely re-shape how we see and do things with our phones. Accounting for such a change, we decided to add the latest devices announced at CTIA: the HTC EVO 3D and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. The first is HTC’s entry into the stereoscopic camera world (much like the LG Optimus 3D), but that is only the tip of the iceberg as this device, much like its predecessor (EVO 4G) is a mobile powerhouse with quite impressive specs and fixes on flaws that were present in the EVO 4G (physical hardware camera button and a higher capacity battery… thank you HTC!). The other device is the offspring of a PSP Go and an Xperia phone, so you can take it as phone capabilities being added to the Go, or gaming capabilities being added to an Android device. Either way you look at it, it is bound to be an interesting device, to say the least!
