Feeling Vulnerable? ESET Mobile Security Available for Android

Security on our devices has been a matter of concern as of lately. It hasn’t been long since the first viruses for Android hit the market, disguised as apps or hidden in them. As a result of this, many companies thwt specialize in security threats of this kind decided to go mobile with some of their products. One such company is ESET, which is the maker of the largely popular NOD32 anitvirus, which is a PC based program, which unlike most antiviruses out there, is almost completely silent and has very little impact on your computer’s performance. All this while providing you with a fantastic level of protection against most common threats. Thanks to XDA member h0rd4k, who posted a thread about this, we learned that ESET Mobile Security is currently in open beta stage. This means that if you have concerns regarding the content that goes through your device, you can rest reassured that this app will let you know if something is not right.
Again, please keep in mind that this is in beta stage and as such, you may run into a bug or two. Please leave your feedback in the thread so as to let others know about your findings.
Protect your smartphone with ESET’s heuristics detection that alerts you to any suspicious activity on your phone.
You can find more information in the original thread.
