The screens on Android phones seem to just be getting bigger. Thankfully, they’re also getting higher resolutions so anything that shows up is big and beautiful. So when popular video applications like YouTube or Netflix have buffering issues, and you can’t use that big screen for its intended purpose, it can be a little annoying. HTC EVO 4G LTE owners have been experiencing strange buffering issues even with solid connections to their cell towers, but now there’s a fix.
The tutorial is written by XDA Senior Member motcher41 and involves changing HTTP and RSTP proxy settings. You’ll need your MSL code, and motcher41 provides a couple of ways for users to get it. Of course, you’ll need root access as well.
