Flick Your Device And Change Your Brightness – Brightness Motion for Android
Posted June 23, 2011 at 06:00 am by egzthunder1
It is rather ironic how we tend to take utmost care of our devices so that they don’t get hit, scratched, or damaged and yet we install and create apps that work by flicking or slinging them. These are the kinds of apps hat make the accelerometer built in them a rather useful feature as they do not need any kind of attention or interaction by the user to activate them. Well, if you were thinking that you needed yet another reason to simulate throwing your device, then check out what XDA member Marinelli.Tv has prepared for you. Brightness motion will allow you to change the brightness of your device’s screen by simply flicking it either left or right depending if you want to increase it or decrease it. This becomes a handy feature when you are using other apps like games or watching a movie and you really don’t want to get out of the app to change the brightness. As with any app of this kind, please be careful to not swing the device if you have people or objects around you as you may end up hurting someone or your device.
The dev is looking for feedback and suggestions to add more features to the app. So, please give it a go and let the dev know what you think.
This application let you control the brightness level only with motion.
To preserve your battery you can simply change your screen brightness with motion in any application.
You can find more information in the application thread.
