Floating Mail Displays Your Email atop Any Application

As the screens on our mobile devices are growing larger and higher resolution with each passing generation, it’d be silly to not use that added screen real estate for some serious multitasking. Of course, there are a couple OEM-specific multi-window systems already to help us do this, but what about users of other devices? Luckily, there are various floating apps available that help us do exactly this for several key tasks.
As its name implies, Floating Mail is a floating Email client. Created by XDA Forum Member Floatricks and based on the popular K-9 Email client, this application brings chatheads-like notifications to your Email inbox. When you receive a new Email, a floating notification appears on screen. This keeps a running tally of unread emails, and it can be moved anywhere on screen. Tapping on the bubble will display the contents of the Email in a floating window. From there, you can view other emails or dismiss the new message. And if you wish to reply, simply click the reply button and the main app will open.
If you’re a multitasking fiend and want to load up another useful floating app, head over to the application thread and give Floating Mail a try.
