Leaks are the life and blood of the mobile development scene. More often than not, leaks get ported to all sorts of devices, enabling new features in the process. The rather silent HTC Flyer world just got hit with a leak for its AT&T counterpart, the HTC Puccini. XDA member ikingblack found it and immediately posted a link in the Flyer forums for the devs to start cracking it open to see what goodies it was loaded with. And better yet, what kind of bloatware will be taken out from the rom once it becomes bootable.
Needless to say, and as you would expect, the leak in its virgin form cannot be flashed onto anything. What is more, the devs who have been able to flash it cannot get it to boot. It will take some time, but it looks rather promising and if this can be cracked, we may start seeing new roms for the Flyer and maybe even for other devices as well. So far, logcats are being retrieved, so sit tight as answers (and possibly a booting rom) will be here soon!
If you can help and/or contribute to this project, please drop by the thread and take the leak for a spin.
It’s a HTC Puccini leak/rom, but it isn’t flash able.
You can find more information in the original thread.
