Forgot What You Saw In That Place? Go2Note for Android

Lets assume for a second that you like Footprints and love the idea of geolocation pictures and notes. However, as you may already know, without Sense, this will not work. How about if you could get something similar where you could write down notes on places that you have been at. For instance, you just saw a killer bargain and you have nothing to write with and will likely forget where you saw it. If this sounds familiar enough, then you will definitely want to check out what XDA memberĀ qubit76 just released. This app will allow you to write notes and attach them to a specific location, much like the aforementioned Sense app. You can add as many notes as you want and come back to them whenever you need to. The app is still in beta stage and you are likely to find a few bugs here and there. However, it is a great way to justify having a gps chip in your device when you don’t drive an awful lot.

The rev is looking for feedback and bugs, so please leave your comments in case you run into issues.

I just released this new app onto the Android Market. At the moment it is still in the beta phase although pretty stable as far as I can see.

The basic concept is make a note of anything and bind it to a location. Use the filter to see which notes are located near you. I will be adding editing and deleting from the notes list in a future release.

You can find more information in the application thread.
