Froyo on Vogue… Fully Functional
Posted July 2, 2010 at 03:00 am by egzthunder1
You may remember a few days ago that we posted an article about Froyo having been successfully ported to the HTC Vogue. Well, thanks to the constant efforts by our devs and testers the kinks have been mostly worked out and everything in the latest build is fully functional. By everything, we do mean everything (GPS, BT, Camera, Voice Search, etc). The build, developed by XDA members dzo and incubus26jc, is really fast and rather stable as well, very much suitable for daily use. So, if you have a Vogue and want the absolute latest in Android development, be sure to check RLS 5 out.
This build used to be more customized by me but as time goes on and DZO keeps releasing better builds with more features, It has become less of anything custom by me. So I changed the thread to his name because its his and he deserves the credit for everything. I appreciate all of your guys testing throughout this process and I will keep updating the thread with his builds. Thanks DZO for this wonderful build.
You will need the latest Eclair Kernel For this build.
THIS BUILD IS NOW ODEXED AND JUST A BASE BUILD WITH OPTIONAL APPS/WIDGETS ADDONS
You can find more information in the rom thread.
