Galaxy Note II Gets CWM, Sets Pace for Development

The Samsung Galaxy Note II is one of the most anticipated phones of the year. As the next successor in the popular “phablet” line of Note devices, its massive form is only matched by its powerful specs. It has a quad core Exynos processor and 2 GB of RAM that will surely be taken advantage of in every way possible upon its heralded release. The pace for development has already been set, thanks to XDA Forum Member Chenglu, as CWM Recovery version 220.127.116.11 is now available for the N7100 and i317 versions.
That’s right. The device hasn’t even been released, and a developer here on XDA has already managed to load a custom recovery. One can only imagine the amazing works in store for this device as root and custom recovery have already been accomplished. Of course as of the moment, this will trigger the flash counter and must be flashed through ODIN, but if you’re looking for that instant fix the moment you buy your phone, you’ll know where to look.
So head on over to the original thread and give this beast a spin (when you get your device of course).
