As time keeps going by and as our phones keep getting more sophisticated, people are even beginning to treat these as replacements for their not-so-old point and shoot cameras. With the megapixel barrier being a thing of the past (not the most defining specification for a camera, I know), it now becomes a matter of features. For instance, not too long ago, Sony came up with a point and shoot that can easily take panorama pictures and they put some of this functionality in some of their Xperia devices. However, as most things branded Sony, this was something exclusive to Sony phones, much like Sense is for HTC devices. Thanks to the work of XDA member jimbo77
Hi Everyone!, people who don’t have Sony phones can now enjoy this nifty feature. The app was tweaked so it will run on any device regardless of the manufacturer. As with most adaptations of foreign software it is always recommended that you perform a backup before trying this out.
Please leave some feedback and a few sample shots if you decide to take this for a spin.
Have you seen how the new Sony’s Cameras capture Panorama Photos by moving the Camera all the way the scene you want to capture?
