For many users, the official Google Drive app is just a bit too cumbersome. It can be slow to load, weighed down by its many often unnecessary features and functions, and too large in size. Maybe you just want to sync their files on the Android device into your Google Drive and be on you way. Well, GDriveSync allows you to just that.
XDA Forum Member alter0001 introduced to us GDriveSync, an app that is just a fraction the size of Google Drive and performs the simple but essential function of syncing files from your Android device straight to Google Drive. The app’s user interface is simple, allowing users to select which folders on the Phone’s SD card to sync. Users then set which folder in their Drive the folders are to be synced to. GDriveSync allow users to choose whether to sync only with a WiFi connection, and to automatically sync folders. Sync intervals range from every ten minutes to 24 hours.
Designed and developed to be “as simple to use as possible”, it can certainly be claimed that GDriveSync is extremely straightforward and user-friendly. It offers simple and useful functionality presented with a plain, direct, and simple user interface. Currently supporting Android version 2.2 and newer, the free version can be downloaded on the Play store with more details in the original thread.___________________
