Guide: Transfer Your Angry Birds Between Devices Without Root

Are you on the verge of upgrading your Android-powered device but are holding back because you don’t want to lose your Angry Birds progress data? If so, XDA forum member OstrichSak has the perfect tutorial for you. Borne out of necessity, the thread creator initially wanted to learn how to transfer his own save data and decided to share it with our wonderful XDA community in the form of a How-To Guide.

I did a search when I got my new Evo 4G and all I found was people saying it wasn’t possible and the ones that said it was possible said you had to be rooted. After a little more digging and some trial and error I figured out a way to backup all THREE versions of Angry Birds and then move all progress (including golden eggs) to a new and UNROOTED device for FREE! Here’s how I did it. Hope this helps others.

Interested in backing up, transferring, or synchronizing your Angry Birds progress data across multiple devices? If so, make sure to continue on to the original thread.
