People who travel all over the world normally don’t take heed on other people’s warnings. Because of that, many of them get in trouble and really have no idea how to ask for help or who to call. Each and every country (or at least most of them) will have a number to call in case of emergency. In the US as well as in several other countries, this number is 911. However, when you truly are in a bind and can’t really get to your dialer, you have to ask yourself… if only my Android device had an easy way for me to call for help. Thanks to XDA member oeN, now you can sit back and relax. His series of widgets include several different widgets that will dial various emergency numbers from all over the world. We feature in this article just one of them, but there are several which will suit your needs depending on the country that you are in.

The 999 Widget makes it easier to dial the emergency number 999. Just place the widget in your home screen and use it everytime you find yourself in a emergency situation.
