Truly unlimited plans from carriers are really a wonderful thing as they allow you to simply forget about limits. You can use as much data, minutes, and text messages that your heart can hope for. However, what about those people on non-unlimited plans? Overage fees from carriers are normally outragegously high and getting them reversed is a hard and long ordeal. There is no better way to prevent said overages than being able to track what you use. For this purpose, XDA member alou2 has developed Track My Plan, which will, in real time, track all your cell phone usage. You will be able to track everything from minutes used, to text messages sent, all the way to MB of data used.
The app is in a closed beta stage but one can sign up for free by simply getting in touch with the dev. If you do go into the beta program, please ensure that you leave good quality feedback to help the dev.
It features real time tracking of your plan (voice, text and data), with overrun and international calls costs estimations to avoid bad surprises when the bill comes, and supports features such as Night&Weekend minutes, unlimited numbers, rollover computation, etc..
You can find more information in the application thread.
