Have More Control Over Your Lockscreen With DelayedLock for Android

delayedlock

Do you wish that you device wouldn’t be locking itself when you are in the middle of using it? If you are using Froyo, you probably don’t have a whole lot of options to counter this. Now, XDA member j4velin has developed DelayedLock, which basically is an app that will allow any kind of lockscreen (puzzle, pattern, slide, etc) to delay its activation. For instance, when your screen goes off (time out), the moment you turn it back on, you are likely to see the lockscreeen. This app allows you to set a timer before the lockscreen becomes active, which may be handy for certain apps like GPS (provided that the GPS app is not set up to keep the screen from sleeping).

The dev is looking for some good feedback on it, so please install it and see if you can find any bugs on it.

Hey guys
I just published my first serious app on the android market and would like to give some of you the opportunity to test it for free.

The app is called DelayedLock and simply delays the activation of the lockscreen to a user definied amount of time. You can choose to start the activation timer whether on the last successful unlock or on display off time and immediately reenable the lockscreen through a notification in the status bar.

You can find more information in the application thread.
