Headset Hook Mod Fixes Rezound Headset Inline Controls Bug

Every phone has its issues. Be it a small bug, battery issue, or other, phones pose a particular challenge to developers because with each new device there is a new set of problems that have to be fixed. For the HTC Rezound, there is an unusual bug that was recently fixed.
Apparently, the Rezound has a problem with inline headset controls, where using the buttons would cause the screen to turn on. This is a problem that the Headset Hook Mod looks to correct. XDA Senior Member GoldenCyn, who released the mod, explains further:
The headset hook mod allows you to use any earphones or headphones that have inline controls and allow you to pause, skip, play from any music source on your phone without the screen turning on. This fixes a common issue when you have your phone in your pocket and accidentally pocket dial or activate unwanted processes without your knowledge, and even dreaming of battery with the screen being on.
To use the mod, simply flash it in recovery. One thing to note, it has been tested in TWRP 2.1.0 and Amon RA 3.15 and works for those recoveries. It has not been tested in any ClockworkMod as of yet, so your results may vary. It has been confirmed to not work on TWRP 2.2.1 at the moment. So if you are currently using 2.2.1, you may have to revert to a prior recovery first.
