Diabeetus—sorry, diabetes, is a serious condition that continues to affect more and more people every year. Those living with the condition are all too familiar with the need to carefully track dietary intake.
HelpDiabetes is a carb counting application with an in built food database developed by XDA Senior Member gkenny1991. The app allows you to easily keep track of what you have eaten and view a grand total of Calories and macronutrients: carbohydrates, fat, and protein. It will also offer an estimate as to how much insulin somebody suffering from diabetes may need to take. The food database covers foods and ingredients from a variety of different countries, and the application also includes other useful features such as a blood glucose level log, insulin and medication tracker, exercise log, and the ability to remember commonly eaten foods/meals. The app is available in both in English and Dutch, and is compatible with Android 1.6 and above.
